Earth, as shown in Assault Lily: Secret Garden -Innocent Memoria-

Earth is the planet on which humans live, and in Assault Lily, fight for survival against the Huge. It resembled the Earth that we live on up until approximately the year 2000, when the arrival of the Huge and the emergence of Magi caused its history to diverge.

This page describes the state of the Assault Lily world as it's currently understood.

Inhabited Regions

These places are known with certainty to still be inhabited by humans in 2052 or the very recent past, and it is unlikely that they are considered fallen.

Japan

Place	Notes
Tokyo Prefecture Kamakura (Kanagawa) Prefecture Kyoto Prefecture	Various Assault Lily stories take place in these safe or contested areas.
Chiba Prefecture	Several Gardens are located here. The Makuhari area fell to the Huge for around a year, but was retaken in the Makuhari Recapture.
Hokkaido Prefecture	Egawa Kusumi was born here, and her parents have a ranch with horses. Some parts of the prefecture have fallen, but not all of it.
Hyogo Prefecture	Ambrosia is located here (in Kobe), and Tsukioka Momiji was born here.
Ibaraki Prefecture	Several Gardens are located here, and Takahata Masaki was born in Mito City. Ibaraki nearly fell to the Huge at one point, but was saved by the success of the Defense of Kasumigaura.
Kyushu	Fell to the Huge at some point and was later recaptured. Sasebo, the setting of Blue Strike of the Soulmates, is currently protected by Area Defense and has few Nests nearby. Fukuoka Tenjin Girls' High School and Kokura Municipal Girls' High School of Medicine are prestigious Gardens in the region.
Niigata Prefecture	Ryuto Girls' School is located here. Fell to the Huge briefly, but was retaken in the Niigata Recapture.
Saitama Prefecture	"A relatively peaceful area, though there are Nests here and there, so naturally it's still in danger from the Huge" according to Futagawa Fumi.
Aogashima Island	Shown to have a civilian population during Flowers Gathering at the Polar Sky (from Assault Lily: Last Bullet.) In that event, Futagawa Fumi describes the population as "small."
Awaji Island	Part of Ambrosia's national defense area.

Outside Japan

🇺🇸 Boston, America	Boston Bravers Garden is located here. Kurokawa Nady Hanna was also born here.
🇨🇳 China	Li Christina Susu is stated to be "an exchange student from China." The Wang family was originally Chinese, though Wang Yujia was born in Iceland, and there's no confirmation that any of her immediate family ever lived in China.
🇬🇧 Liverpool, England	Kozue West is half-English and was born in Liverpool. She is a football fan who supports Liverpool FC.
🇫🇮 Finland	The CHARM manufacturer Linnunrata Electronics is headquartered here.
🇫🇷 Paris, France	Kaede Johan Nouvel has a phone conversation with her father in Paris in episode 9 of Assault Lily: Bouquet. She was also born there.
🇮🇸 Iceland	Wang Yujia has a phone conversation with her mother in Iceland in episode 4 of Assault Lily: Bouquet. She was also born there (some sources state in Reykjavik specifically.)
🇮🇳 India	The CHARM manufacturer Veda United is headquartered here.
🇮🇪 Aran Islands, Ireland	The CHARM manufacturer Celtic Dale Corporation is headquartered here.
🇮🇹 Italy	The CHARM manufacturer Larentia Industries is headquartered here, and several Lilies were born here; Altea Alessandrini and her sister Lemie were specifically born in Milan, while the others were born in unspecified locations in Italy.
🇳🇿 New Zealand	According to Futagawa Fumi, New Zealand hasn't yet fallen to the Huge, unlike nearby Australia.
🇵🇭 The Philippines	The Funada sisters visited the Philippines recently and met Lilies from the area.
🇪🇸 Spain	The CHARM manufacturer Auñamendi Systems has its headquarters here, and Catalina Asensio was born here.
🇸🇪 Sweden	Heimskringla Trädgård is located here, and a few Lilies like Louloudis Bromstedt were born here.
🇻🇳 Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam	Suối Tiên Vườn is located here, and Yoshimura Thi Mai spent her early life here and plans to return someday. The Funada sisters visited Vietnam recently and met Lilies from the area.

Fallen Regions

These places are stated in Assault Lily media to have fallen to the Huge, either entirely or to a significant degree. (Note that this does not necessarily mean that they are uninhabited by humans, or that no functioning Gardens are present in the area.)

Japan

Place	Notes
Chugoku (Western Honshu)	In the past, a strategic withdrawal was made from this area in order to focus upon other fronts in Hyogo and Kyushu. Over half of the region, including Hiroshima Prefecture, is designated fallen, but a few Gardens like Kyurei still operate here. Various Gardens elsewhere in Japan, including Yurigaoka, are taking part in an expedition to recapture Chugoku.
Gunma Prefecture	At one point, Fumi said Gunma was "a relatively peaceful area, though there are Nests here and there, so naturally it's still in danger from the Huge". However, she later said that liberating Gunma may become a long-term objective of Yurigaoka's, implying that the prefecture is considered fallen.
Nagano Prefecture	Futagawa Fumi has said that liberating Nagano may become a long-term objective of Yurigaoka's, implying that the prefecture is considered fallen.
Shikoku	Over half of the region is designated fallen, including Tokushima. Bizan Girls' High School of Technology (presumably located near Mt. Bizan in Tokushima) still operates as a Garden here.
Shizuoka Prefecture	Fell to the Huge at some point following the birth of Ando Tazusa. Hræsvelgr, one of the Seven Great Ultras, was involved in its fall. Alchemilla Girls' Academy has an interest in recapturing the area.
Tochigi Prefecture	Over half of the region is designated fallen. Based on its name, Nasu Girls' High School may be located here (the Garden's existence is known only from a single Fumi tweet.)
Yamanashi Prefecture	The only completely fallen area in the Kanto region, according to Futagawa Fumi. Fell to the Huge after the Koshu Evacuation; however, Kaiseizan still operates in the area, and some sources mention a civilian presence.

Outside Japan

🇦🇺 Australia	The entire continent is fallen. Jabberwock, one of the Seven Great Ultras, has its Nest in Australia.
🇹🇼 Taipei, Taiwan	The location of the first known Nest. Was devastated by an attack when Kuo Shenlin was in kindergarten, and may have already been considered fallen by that time (there was an evacuation zone.) Shenlin implies in Blue Strike of the Soulmates that people still live there.

🇬🇪 Georgia	Nino Kakhidze was born here.
