The first-generation Legion Álfheimr (LGアールヴヘイム) was a legion at Yurigaoka Girls' Academy. Originally a reserve team consisting mostly of junior high school students, it operated as a full-fledged legion beginning with the Koshu Withdrawal, in which Hayashi Kaoru took the role of acting captain[2]. Following the Koshu Withdrawal, Takegoshi Chihana served as the captain for the remainder of the legion's existence.
Legion Álfheimr dissolved after the First Defense of Oiso. By then, its members had already made up their minds to go their separate ways at some point, but the situation came to a head when Chihana was blamed for the disastrous events of Oiso. She was removed as the captain of Álfheimr by order of the student council and the legion was told to choose a new captain, but they disbanded instead[3].
Later, Legion Skuld was renamed Legion Álfheimr, and that legion is known as "the second-generation Legion Álfheimr" to distinguish it.

- This emblem (and the stars) were inherited by the second Álfheimr along with the name.
- The first Álfheimr's legion color was black[6].
