Yokota Haruna
Yokota Haruna (横田悠夏) is a first year Lily who attends Kamba Girls' High School for the Fine Arts. She is a member of Legion Gran Eple.

Personality
[edit | edit source]Haruna is a cheerful and energetic girl who rarely tries to hide what she's feeling. She has a habit of hugging people when she's happy[1]. She is particularly fond of her cousin Takane, calling her "Takane-nee-sama," but easily makes friends and gets along with most people. Among the few people capable of earning Haruna's ire are those that she feels have upstaged her beloved Takane, such as Sadamori Himeka; however, after an initial period of mutual dislike, she later developed a friendly rivalry with Himeka[2].
History
[edit | edit source]Haruna was born in Odaiba, Tokyo. She grew up together with Miyagawa Takane, who she adores, and also knew and admired Kon Kanaho from a young age. Though both Haruna and Kanaho love Takane, they are good friends and feel no jealousy towards each other.
Haruna's parents are researchers of the Huge, and when she was young, they went to work for a university in the United States and took her with them. During middle school, Haruna became a Lily and attended Boston Bravers Garden.
In 2051, when Haruna was a third-year in middle school, she returned to Odaiba for a visit and was there when the Odaiba Counteroffensive happened. She fought together on Odaiba with Homma Akehi and credits Akehi's guidance with helping her survive the battle. Because of this, she has great respect for Akehi.
Upon Haruna's return to America, she helped destroy the Boston Nest[3]. In 2052, some time after the school year had started, Haruna moved to Japan and enrolled in Kamba out of a desire to be in the same Garden as Takane and fight together with her. However, Legion Gran Eple was full at the time, so Haruna was unable to join it; she instead joined the Kamba Student Council Defense Force, which Akehi (as the student council president) was the leader of.
Later, Haruna became a member of Legion Gran Eple when it reorganized and was merged with the KSCDF.
Combat Style
[edit | edit source]Haruna fights in the AZ. She's remarkably strong, and those around her also recognize her keen intuition and refined techniques. She initially developed her fighting style in the hopes of fighting as close to Takane as possible, but somewhat to her displeasure, she's discovered that she and Himeka make an even better combination on the battlefield (after Himeka, on Haruna's advice, switched positions from the TZ to the AZ.)[2]

Trivia

- Haruna likes matcha and the tea ceremony is her hobby[3].
- Haruna has a poor sense of direction and isn't good at following maps[1].
