Zushi International Girls' High School

From Assault Lily Wiki

Zushi International Girls' High School (逗子国際女子高等学校) was a Garden in Kamakura, Japan. It was once considered close in strength to the "Big Five Gardens" of Kamakura[3], but then it was attacked by the Huge and destroyed in 2051, shortly before the Great Huge Onslaught[1]. Most of its Lilies died during this attack[4].

Zushi International Girls' High School was presumably located in the city of Zushi, about 5 kilometers southeast of Kamakura City (where Yurigaoka is.)

The culture of Zushi International Girls' emphasized the nature of its Lilies as proud warriors, and many of those Lilies who survived the Garden's fall went to Odaiba and Sakuranomori, two Gardens which have a similar culture. A minority of its Lilies instead entered Yurigaoka[5].

The Shock Blade[edit | edit source]

Zushi International Girls' taught its Lilies to use a technique called the Shock Blade (衝撃剣). By practicing intensely with their Magi, a master of the Shock Blade becomes capable of killing many Huge with a single blow. This technique was originally created by an ancestor of Tetsukawa Toa and her deceased older sister, Kiyo[6].

An innovation of Zushi International Girls' was to combine the Shock Blade with the Rare Skill of Phase Transcendence[5]. Because of this, Phase Transcendence was highly valued at Zushi International Girls' and many of its Lilies had that skill[7].

Due to the power of the Shock Blade, former Zushi International Girls' students, even junior high school ones, have little trouble entering other Gardens[8].

People associated with Zushi International Girls' High School[edit | edit source]

  • Tetsukawa Kiyo, an instructor. She was considered one of the principal reasons for the Garden's lofty reputation[3]. She died in battle when the Garden was destroyed[4].
    • While Tetsukawa Toa was taught the Shock Blade by Kiyo[6], Toa herself never attended Zushi International Girls'.
  • Fukushima Ritsu, a former student. She currently attends Odaiba[5].
  • Hosuda Kotoko, a former student. She currently attends Yurigaoka, where she is a member of Legion Schwarz Grail[9].

"A: In retrospect, it was an early sign of the intense Huge attacks that would later come from the Oiso nest. It's not considered part of the Great Huge Onslaught, but some scholars argue that it should be considered a prelude to it." Translation by Letheka.

But Toa's skill level is S and she also got one of the largest magi volume in the world, which is why her shock blade is considered as completely graduated." Translation by rluka.
