Alchemilla Girls' Academy

Alchemilla Girls' Academy (アルケミラ女学館) is a Garden in Kamakura, Japan. In fighting for the Shizuoka region, Alchemilla has lost all of its Lilies who would today be in their third year, and as such has had its strength greatly diminished. Prior to that, Alchemilla was considered one of the "big five" Gardens in the Kamakura region, but today is considered nearly, though not totally, defunct.

Prior to its decline, it had good relationships with Sakuranomori Kamakura Prefectural Girls' High School and with Yurigaoka Girls' Academy. Since it is close with Sakuranomori, Alchemilla and Sagami Girls' Academy don't have a great relationship, meanwhile. Currently, Alchemilla's Lilies (which it calls "seeresses") are dedicated to the cause of reviving their Garden, and in liberating the Shizuoka region from the Huge.

Alchemilla is known for its strict uniform policy, allowing nearly no alterations or variety. A specific part of its uniform is the "Rebounder" defensive cape all seeresses wear. This cape is designed to utilize its wearer's magie and allows it to be used as a defense measure to parry attacks. While the parrying is highly effective, it takes a high degree of skill to utilize. Moreover, Alchemilla's chosen combat style focuses on technique and moreover speed, and as such, its Lilies rarely use much if anything in the way of other defensive gear.

This means Alchemilla Lilies are especially prone to fatal attacks, but only if they fail to parry with the Rebounder. In return, there's few Lilies who are faster than an Alchemilla Lily. Perhaps this is why many Lilies at Alchemilla develop Invisible One, the subskill for Shukuchi. Meanwhile, the Rebounder is difficult to use, so it's rarely used outside of Alchemilla. Some AZ Lilies who focus on speed find it to be just their style, however.
