Assault Lily: Last Bullet (アサルトリリィ Last Bullet) is a video game for iPhone, Android, and PC (using DMM Game Player) based on the Assault Lily universe. It was originally developed by Pokelabo (in cooperation with acus, AZONE, Bushiroad, Shaft and TBS), and is now operated by AZONE and Shaft. The game is is free to play, but allows players to purchase gacha currency they can use to roll for new characters and 'memoria' (pictures that can be equipped and used in battle to attack, support or heal characters.)

Last Bullet is currently only playable in Japanese and no plans for an English-language version have been announced.

Gameplay

Last Bullet's gameplay is very similar to that of another game previously developed by Pokelabo, SINoALICE. Although it incorporates some setting elements such as Rare Skills and the Neunwelt Tactic, it is for the most part an inaccurate depiction of how Lilies canonically fight, with a heavily abstracted concept of Zones and formations, and subskills being completely omitted from the game.

Story

Last Bullet has a main story, which is always playable, and runs 1-3 story events a month that are playable for a limited time. Some memoria also come with short "memoria stories."

Characters

The game initially featured 19 Lilies, split into 3 legions: Team Hitotsuyanagi, Legion Hervör, and Legion Gran Eple. Since then, 4 Lilies from Legion Hronesnæsse and 5 Lilies from Legion Ironside have been added. Limited characters from the Nanoha, Symphogear, and Date a Live are also playable.

Legion Stories

The stories of two early events were later made permanently accessible from the "legion story" menu:

In addition, there is a Team Hitotsuyanagi legion story which is a fairly faithful visual-novel style adaptation of the first half of Assault Lily: Bouquet.

Story Events

This does not include the aforementioned legion stories, or main story continuations that ran as events.

Translations

You can find a collection of English-translated story material in Google Docs format here.

Some (but far from all) of the above translations have been typeset onto game story videos on YouTube by GEHENA Subtitle Labs. This is the closest you'll get to the original experience unless Last Bullet gets an official English release in the future.

There is an (incomplete and somewhat outdated) English game guide here.
