Kishida Hanabusa

Kishida Hanabusa (岸田英) is a first year Lily who attends Odaiba Girls' School. She is a member of Legion Coast Guard. She's known for the mixture of her sweet, almost child-like personality, and the way it clashes with the overwhelming power with which she fights. She's also one of only three Phantasm users at Odaiba (the other two being Kozue West and Kawanabe Nazuna), and was the last one to awaken to it of those three.

History

Hanabusa's parents were both employed at GEHENA. Despite this, to protect their daughter from being exploited for boosting experimentation, they gave her to Odaiba instructor Akira Blanton. Afterwards, her parents went missing. Hanabusa was then raised at Odaiba, and she naturally became a Lily.

During her last year of middle school, Hanabusa was caught in the Odaiba Counteroffensive. She assisted in the evacuation of civilians along with the 4th Division, and also participated in the Light Wall defensive battle. Despite not having yet awakened her rare skill, she nevertheless participated in Neunwelt Tactics in order to facilitate passing, and got by on her sheer skill with a CHARM.

After the Counteroffensive, some Lilies from the Counteroffensive's 4th Division split away from the Heorot Saints to form Legion Coast Guard. When Hanabusa entered high school and finally awakened her rare skill, she was more than happy to join Coast Guard.

Personality

Buoyant, a bit of an attention-seeker, ditzy, but sweet, there are few people at Odaiba who dislike Hanabusa. This is only furthered by how Hanabusa views the whole Garden like her family, due to having been raised there. Though she might be said to be child-like in behavior, her overwhelming strength and her ability to smash through Huge with skill have even earned the discerning Funada Kiito's praise, who once praised her with: "That Hanabusa girl is quite something, isn't she?"

Combat Style

Hanabusa is a power-type fighter, who relies on overwhelming, bulldozer-esque strength. Not only does she wield her CHARM with power in mind, but she always favors heavier units over lighter ones. She doesn't lack for speed, either, and is particularly adept at delivering powerful blows at the end of a high-speed charge.

In addition to her future-foretelling rare skill, Phantasm, Hanabusa makes use of B-type Armaments for her CHARM, and also engages in the "Impactor Style" of combat, where she intentionally overclocks and overheats her CHARM for increased output, utilizing the Valkyrie Skirt "Magie Reincarnation System" to recover quickly despite not having the rare skill Z.

Due to the high level of her personal ability to take down Huge, she's sometimes called "the Freakslayer of Coast Guard."
