Torii Miho

Torii Miho (鳥居美歩) is a Lily who attends Herensuge. Formerly a Madec, she was the captain of an Herensuge Madec squad during junior high school. She is a close friend of Matsumura Fuka, who was also a member of that squad.

She is described as cheerful and lively during her Madec period, having a bright personality and leadership skills, similar to Kondo Misaka.

History

During her Madec period, she was an active and powerful character, befriending other Herensuge Madecs and Lilies, including Homma Akehi and Tsuboi Nanaho. It's said she could naturally reach the skiller value required to become a Lily before entering high school; but her desire to become Lily grew too strong — to some extent inspired by Fuka and other Madec teammates who expressed their desire to fight under Miho's command even if it required boosting — ultimately leading her to seek the boosting procedure from GEHENA. However, GEHENA discovered her potential to awaken an aberration: Devil's Right Hand, thus faked her disappearance, and used her as a test subject.

Resulted by the experiments, she lost her right eye and has to wear a prosthetic eye. As the experiments tormented her physically and mentally, her jealousy of Fuka grew, as Fuka had become a Lily and formed her own Legion. As an accomplice in the Herensuge Laboratory, she captured Fuka for an experiment to create "Holy Swords" for the princesses. During this incident, her confrontation with Legion Cuélebre, and especially with Makino Mitake, made her realize her mistakes. She helped them sabotaged the experiment, and now she is under the protection of the Herensuge Principal, Takashima Yakumo.

• She likes ferrets, dislikes narrow places and high places. Her hobby is collecting picture books.
• Her family name is originated from the archaeologist Torii Ryuzo (鳥居龍藏).
