Mozuna Noa

Mozuna Noa (毛綱乃彩) is a second year Lily who attends Yurigaoka Girls' Academy. She is a member of Legion Álfheimr (2nd generation). Though not a Phantasm-user, she possesses an almost unreal level of intuitive understanding of things, as if she can read the motion of the world itself. It's to the point that some wonder whether it qualifies as an aberration on its own. Sometimes referred to as the "Joker" or wild card of Alfheimr.

Personality

Upon first meeting, Noa may seem spacey or even air-headed. She speaks in slow, drawn-out syllables, describes things more by their "feel" or "vibe" than any factual thing about them, and takes life at only her own speed. This sort of outward demeanor is by no means fake, but at the same time, it would be foolish to dismiss her, as her intuitive understanding of people and things is incredibly sharp. Even as she mentions "feeling the wind," she will have insightful commentary that, while not logical, nevertheless is right on the mark.

This intuitiveness shows itself in battle most often. She has the uncanny ability to make impossible situations possible by making choices that are illogical or seemingly difficult. As she puts it, "I feel if we pick the hardest path, we can transcend what the Huge predict. That's why I, at least, always do the hardest thing I can think of."

The word "natural," in the sense of "a natural at something," applies in the truest sense to Noa. Both this, and her laid-back, spacey attitude, contribute to her alias: Pixie.

History

Noa is childhood friends with both Yamanashi Hibari and Watanabe Akane. She was a part of Legion Svanhvít before it disbanded. Because she says she was "all alone" before joining Legion Álfheimr (2nd generation), it can be guessed that she didn't take the breakup of her old legion very well. Even so, she remains on good terms with Hibari, and is also roommates with Izumi Botan, who was also in Svanhvit.

Combat Style

In a word, "free." Noa has a high level of dueling capability for a second year, and her greatest strength is her ability to create unexpected openings.

From Irma Girls' High School for the Arts:

• Hibino Waku: After the Odaiba Counteroffensive, Waku cried at the idea of having to separate from Noa, and so Waku exchanged bracelets with her (in the Crownshine Oath style), promising they would one day fight together again. Waku thinks of Noa very highly.
