Imamura Yukari

Imamura Yukari (今村紫) is a first year Lily who attends Odaiba Girls' School. She is a member of Legion Hronesnæsse.

History

Yukari once had an older sister, Imamura Sakumi, who passed away due to illness. Because Sakumi had a strong aspiration to become a Lily, Yukari developed a high Skiller Value in order to carry on her sister's will and eventually became a Lily. Her hair accessory is a memento from Sakumi.

Sakumi had a deep bond with Hishida Haru, but unlike Haru, Yukari couldn't bring herself to fight with the same level of discipline and intensity, leading her down a different path. She was naturally weak-willed, lacked confidence, was an easy target for bullying and never stood out. She walked with her head down, living cautiously, trying not to attract attention. Every time someone mentioned "Sakumi's legacy" or her sister, she would become even more insecure.

Yukati often became friends with similarly quiet people, and was close to Kawanabe Nazuna even before her Rare Skill awakened. Through Nazuna, she met Kozue West, who sensed a similarity in their magical energy.

To help Yukari overcome her shyness, Kozue frequently took her along to various activities. However, much like how Nakaba took Nazuna around, this gradually put pressure on Yukari. She was labeled as "Kozue's burden," which only worsened her lack of confidence… She had a tendency to dwell on negative thoughts, and while Kozue tried to help, her instinctive approach to things made it difficult to properly address Yukari's concerns. During this time, Yukari encountered a senior student during self-training—Igusa Subaru.

Subaru had once been ridiculed as someone with "no exceptional talent," but through relentless effort, strong self-awareness, and a positive mindset, she overcame all odds. The advice she gave Yukari was not technical but focused on mindset and approach to combat. Under Subaru's clear guidance, Yukari gradually began to change. Subaru guided her to truly understand the meaning behind Odaiba Girls' School's motto: "Success is earned through hardship." Since Yukari was naturally inclined to follow others, she began seeking guidance from Subaru and eventually grew into a fully capable Lily.

The Odaiba Counteroffensive

During the Odaiba Counteroffensive, Yukati participated in the Defense of Shin-Tatsumi Bridge during the evacuation. The only major blunder of the battle was when the Fifth Division overextended themselves, which put the entire operation in jeopardy and the Fifth themselves in great danger. To correct this mistake, the Lilies of the Fifth Division engaged in a desperate life-or-death battle. A trio of renowned duelists—Yoshimura Thi Mai, Tono Natsuki and Kawabata Hotaru—formed the core of the defense on the Bridge, holding back the onslaught of Huge at all costs.

Just as this was happening, the younger Lilies from Odaiba Girls' School were being evacuated, but Kozue and Yukari had been left behind. Yukari was at first too frightened to move, but seeing Kozue fighting inspired her to gather her courage. She picked up a first-generation shooting-type CHARM and joined the battle. It was here that her shooting talent blossomed, as she took down Small-class Huge one after another to provide cover for the 5th Division as they executed the Neunwelt Tactic.

From then on, Yukari began to focus on shooting mode in combat. With each successful shot, her confidence grew, transforming her from a timid personality into a battle-hungry warrior.

Combat Style

Yukari wields a uniquely designed CHARM specialized in shooting mode, capable of transforming between three different shooting modes with no blade mode at all. This makes it perfectly suited to Yukari's combat style. Known as the "Demon of Shooting," Yukari is one of the greatest shooting-mode prodigies in the history of Odaiba Girls' School.
