Funada Ui
Funada Ui (船田初) is a Lily who attends Odaiba Girls' School. She is the vice captain of Legion Hronesnæsse.
Personality[edit | edit source]
Ui is well-mannered and gentle, easily earning the trust of those around her, and possesses the composure and leadership skills to correct mistakes. Rational and adept in political maneuvering, she was essentially the one running the Odaiba student council during her time as vice president in junior high school. While her strength as a Lily matches that of her sister Kiito, she has much more mental resilience than Kiito and is one of the fiercest fighters in Odaiba[1].

From birth, Ui and her twin sister Kiito's Skiller Values and waveform data have been completely identical, indicating that they shared the same Rare Skill. However, this also caused a major problem—when the two of were together, they attract the Huge. This phenomenon is referred to as "Rare Skill Resonance."
To prevent this, their parents attempted to separate the sisters during their childhood, but they were unsuccessful. In the end, the twins were taken in by a Garden, forcing them to leave their home. Even so, Ui accepted everything and supported Kiito as they entered the elementary school division of Odaiba Girls' School[1].
Encounter with Yuki[edit | edit source]
The person who welcomed the Funada Twins the most warmly to Odaiba was the older Lily Nagasawa Yuki. Later, Yuki awakened her Rare Skill, Brave, making her a comforting presence for the sisters. They became very attached to Yuki, and Ui even saw her as a "mother figure." This was a fulfilling time for Ui, who dedicated herself to becoming an outstanding Lily.
When Yuki advanced to junior high school, she shared her dreams with Ui—her dream of fighting together in the same Legion and her ideas for the Neunwelt Tactic. Ui kept these goals in mind and resolved to fight alongside this senior in Odaiba, which she now considered their true home.
However, tragedy struck in their final year of elementary school. The three Lilies were ambushed by Small-class Huge in the suburbs. In a moment of panic, Yuki left the battlefield to call for reinforcements, leaving Ui and Kiito behind. Startled, Ui was slow to draw her weapon, and Kiito was injured in the head while protecting her. From that moment, Ui swore, "I will dedicate the rest of my life to my sister Kiito, who saved my life", while also developing a deep feeling of resentment toward Yuki, who had abandoned them.
This incident created a rift between Yuki and the Funadas that remained unresolved even as they entered high school[1].
Activity on the Student Council[edit | edit source]
When Ui entered her third year of junior school, Kiito became student council president, and Ui took on the role of vice president, demonstrating exceptional skill. Though she often went along with Kiito's whimsical policies, she showed independence for the first time when she opposed Kiito's proposal of "ability-based training". She tried to convince Kiito to abandon it, but Kiito refused to back down; ultimately, Kiito lost the support of Odaiba's Lilies and stepped down as president midway through her term. Following this, Ui took Kiito on a journey to study abroad[1].
Forming Legion Hronesnæsse[edit | edit source]
When the Funada Twins returned to Odaiba returned at the end of their first year of high school, they found that Kiito's rival, Hishida Haru, and others others, had taken over the student council. However, since Odaiba Girls' School was transitioning away from the top legion system, many students had developed a sense of independence. Ui called for the formation of a new Legion, and the first to respond was none other than Nagasawa Yuki. Despite their past conflict, the Funada Twins reconciled with her, and she became the first member[1].

Ui shares her Rare Skill, Lunatic Trancer, with her twin sister Kiito. Her CHARM is equipped with the latest B-type Armament and optimized to fully utilize her abilities. Unlike Kiito, she excels at sweeping attacks and charging strikes using Magi barriers, making her highly proficient in assault tactics[1].

- Ui's hobbies are soroban, making candy, making glass, playing shogi, and reading military strategy books.
- Ui's favorite foods are Japanese sweets, udon (especially curry udon), and tofu.
- Ui secretly dislikes spicy food, but is determined not to let Kiito find this out[2].
