Shiba Tomoshibi
Shiba Tomoshibi (司馬燈) is a Lily who attends Odaiba Girls' School. She is a member of Legion Hronesnæsse.

Tomoshibi is an orphan who was taken in by the GEHENA research institution at Kuramayama Girls' High School of Environmental Science, a Garden located in Kyoto. From her early elementary school years, she underwent intense enhancements, surviving the era when the research lab was forcing abnormal enhancements onto Lilies. Her enhancements include the abilities Regenerator and Enhancement, along with the rare skill Phase Transcendence sub-skill "Awakening," making her a duelist by nature.
By the time Tomoshibi entered junior high school, she had escaped the facility. However, it wasn’t because she couldn’t endure the enhancements—rather, she had stopped feeling any further improvement from them. GEHENA tried to cover up the incident, but at the time of her escape, the entire laboratory was destroyed, and none of her assigned researchers survived. Her eccentric and slightly broken personality stems from this brutal past, and this period was when her "beastly nature" was most apparent.
After fleeing, she lived in the mountains of Kyoto, hunting Huge. However, due to her brutal combat style, rumors spread among the locals of a "humanoid monster" in the area. She fought using an abnormal CHARM, pieced together from broken remnants left in the research lab, further fueling the horrifying rumors. Hearing of this rumor, the one who took on the mission to defeat this "monster" was none other than Funada Kiito, who was studying abroad in the western region.
The Duel Between Kiito and Tomoshibi[edit | edit source]
Kiito entered the mountains armed with only her Jötunn-Schwert type CHARM, alone, to confront the rumored humanoid monster. Soon, she encountered a strange girl radiating an eerie aura, staring at her with a blissful, ecstatic expression. Kiito instantly recognized the girl as the rumored monster, but as she attacked, Tomoshibi’s grotesque CHARM fired a beam without warning, piercing Kiito's shoulder. Kiito, who had never once lost a duel, paid the price for her overconfidence. Though she barely escaped, the humiliation remained. Meanwhile, Tomoshibi found herself strangely captivated by Kiito, whom she had failed to kill.
After recovering, Kiito returned to the mountains for a rematch. This time, she fought without any carelessness, and Tomoshibi, sensing the intensity, responded with equal ferocity. Having found worthy opponents in each other, their emotions soared as they exchanged hundreds of strikes with their CHARM. Eventually, Kiito delivered a full-powered Iaigiri on Tomoshibi's right eyebrow. However, Tomoshibi narrowly twisted her body at the last moment, avoiding a fatal strike. Her wound healed instantly thanks to her Regenerator ability, and she stepped back, sheathing her weapon. Though Kiito felt a chill at Tomoshibi's innocent smile, she also sheathed her weapon, bringing the death duel to an end.
Tomoshibi wanted to accompany with Kiito, but Kiito left her behind, departing from Kobe Port to a Garden in Southeast Asia. However, Tomoshibi pursued her all the way to Southeast Asia. For the first time in her life, Kiito was the first person to make her heart flutter, and this was no jest. In the end, she followed both of them and enrolled in Odaiba Girls' School[1].

Combat Style[edit | edit source]
Tomoshibi specializes in using mind-coupled CHARMs, preferring those that enhance the manipulation of Magi flow, even if they carry an ominous aura. As an Boosted Lily, she suffers little to no side effects from using mind-coupled CHARMs. She can absorb damage with her Regenerator and use mental-link type CHARM to absorb Magi from the battlefield, allowing her to also serve as a shield or tank on the frontlines. During the Neunwelt Tactic, she operates as a one-top fighter, positioned slightly behind the central frontline[1].

- Tomoshibi's hobbies are bathing in saunas and oshibana (pressing flowers.)
- Tomoshibi's favorite foods are herbal tea and game meat, especially bear meat (in the real world eaten as a novelty in far northern Japan.)
- Tomoshibi dislikes GEHENA[2].
