Izue Shinobu

Izue Shinobu (出江史房) is a third year Lily who attends Yurigaoka. She holds the office of Brynhildr, one of the three major positions within the Yurigaoka student council, and also is a member and captain of Legion Brynhildr Line. As Brynhildr she is extremely well known as essentially the "general" of Lily combat operations at Yurigaoka.

Personality

Shinobu is the very image of a Brynhildr, being dependable while also firm and decisive. Third year Lilies at Yurigaoka are generally strict with their juniors, and while Shinobu has her moments, she surprisingly has a soft spot for younger Lilies. In particular, she's noted to be fond of girls who are of timid or docile demeanor.

History

Raised at Yurigaoka, Shinobu has been there since kindergarten. Despite her current position as Brynhildr, early on she didn't show great promise, as all through elementary and middle school she struggled to balance her magie capacity with her physical capabilities. This frustrated her a great deal, but what kept her on track was meeting the girl who would become her Schutzengel, Yamazaki Meika. She's also noted to have become friends with Maki Wakana during this period (which later led to her crushing one-sidedly on Wakana).

Through high school, Shinobu ascended to become one of the Garden's greatest warriors. She not only possesses the rare skill Way of the World at S-class, but is also an extremely talented duelist with top class combat capability, and has the aberration Mind's Eye. As the Brynhildr is generally considered to be "the strongest Lily leading the strongest legion," Shinobu certainly fits that bill.

During the Makuhari Recapture, she fought alongside Murakami Tokiwa and Nagasawa Yuki.
