Wait right there for me

Wait for the day where I can see you again
You'll see it then
How I made it bloom, this dream you and I once shared

Sorrow alone won't say what needs to be said
Our days together were so much more than that.
The light of you still blooms today, never once did it dim.
Like broken glass, what I hold of you now
It's jagged, but still beautiful all the same
The cut I feel has to mean it was love

After all this time, I could finally bring our bouquet together.
Because of you, and retracing memories we made.

So with these bonds that i've forged, I can sweep away the shadows of any looming abyss.
Too many people are dear to me, what other reason I need to hold my friends close?
Still there's times where my brittle heart keeps me held fast
Can't help but want to be set free.
But when I cry out, we lean on each other. That's when I can feel it most that I'm not alone.

You know, it should've been you that I walked this future with.
I'll still keep it safe, with you always in my mind, I'll keep living.

On sleepless nights, there were many times
I stood by the door, waiting to hear you.
Dreaming of you, who would never come back.

After all this time, even though I brought our bouquet together
Can't help but think withered flowers might still be fragrant.

I was weak and helpless, but no more
Here and now, I've turned to face this cold, biting storm.
I stand strong.
Too many voices are dear to me, that's enough reason to hope for tomorrow.
When I dream, there's only darkness, a longing lit by the light of the love I feel.
Only one reason that I can face that light it's what we've swore to each other on that day.

But one thing worries me still. Do you think I've lived enough for us both?

Sorrow alone won't say what needs to be said (Sorrow is not enough).
Everything we've done is so much more than that (Everything we've done is so much more than that).
Sorrow alone won't say what needs to be said
Need to tell it all to help us remember
If it hurts, doesn't that prove it was love?

Here and now, I've forged my bonds so that they'll never break again.
I'll cast this love we've made in steel if I have to
So I can move beyond these days doubting myself.

That's how I can hear it when you call out for me.

I screamed, and I cried, but you're still gone
My future is without you.
I'll still keep it safe, trusting in the pain when I think of you
Trusting in this love I've forged, cast in steel
I'll move on ahead.
