Ichinomiya Michaela Himari

From Assault Lily Wiki

Ichinomiya Michaela Himari (一之宮・ミカエラ・日葵) is a second year Lily who attends Ludvico Private Girls' Academy. She is the captain of the Garden's Top Legion, the Temple Legion, and is the Schwester of Narumi Clara Yuko. Himari is the strongest Lily of present day Ludvico, and was also considered a Lily of great renown in her previous Garden, Irma Girls' High School for the Arts. Himari is one of the main protagonists of the Ludvico series of stage plays.

Personality

[edit | edit source]

Himari is a highly diligent and resolute Lily, always adhering very strictly to her ideals of discipline, even when doing so may put her at odds with her closest friends. As the leader of Ludvico's Top Legion, Himari can be rather pragmatic, usually choosing to prioritize the battle at hand before all else. However, she is not altogether coldhearted, and will always take measures to ensure the safety of those around her. Himari is likewise a very hard-lined teacher, but never to the point of rudeness, always seeking to give earnest advice to the Lilies she teaches.

Himari is notably a highly idealistic individual, more often than not prioritizing the pursuit of her goals above all else, and being admittedly reluctant to compromise on things.[1] This is best exemplified in her decision to leave Irma for Ludvico, as though she was already considered a top-class Lily within Irma's system, she still chose to abandon the Garden to achieve the "gallant, freeform fighting style" she longed for, even when this choice put her in disagreement with her longtime friends. It should be noted, however, that Himari is not overbearing in expressing her ideals, and will earnestly attempt to share her vision with others.

Due to her obstinate personality, however, Himari can be strongly bothered when things don't go her way, being described as somewhat of a sore loser.[2] After the Lily she admires the most, Fukuyama Jeanne Sachie, declared that she would leave the Temple Legion, Himari became very upset, as it meant she could no longer fulfill her dream of creating her ideal Legion. This led her to briefly act cold towards Sachie when the two met in the battlefield soon after. However, Himari's idealism is matched by an equally unrelenting sense of justice, always choosing to do what she believes is right, which ultimately led her to side with Legion Ironside in standing against Ludvico, even though it resulted in the collapse of the Garden and consequently, the Temple Legion itself.

History

[edit | edit source]

Himari was a student of Irma Girls' High School for the Arts since middle school, soon becoming one of the Garden's most renowned Lilies. During this time, she met with one Moroi Saho, with the two competing for the position of future captain of the Garden's Top Legion, the Irminshines. Together, the pair integrated the Garden's middle school Reserve, with Himari in the TZ position.[3] Himari would eventually join the Irminshines when graduating into high school. She became close friends with fellow Legion members Nishikawa Miharu, Hibino Waku and Tejima Komachi, and the four of them came to be known as Irma's Magnificent Four (イルマ四天王).[4] Himari and Miharu in particular saw each other as rivals, as Miharu was adamant in abiding by Irma's notoriously inflexible approach to Legion formation, highly prioritizing defense,[5] while Himari advocated for greater versatility, wishing to adopt a more aggressive fighting style.

The Odaiba Counteroffensive

Himari was one of the Lilies present during the Odaiba Counteroffensive, where she and Waku integrated the First Division, notably sharing the battlefield with Fukuyama Jeanne Sachie of Ludvico Private Girls' Academy.

As a member of the First Division, Himari originally joined their efforts to directly attack the Great Cave looming upon Odaiba's Wakasu Park together with the Fifth Division, countering the Huge coming from the southern routes as they made their advance. However, the Fifth Division diverted from their plans, and was rendered unable to regroup with the First, who themselves were stuck fending off large swaths of Huge pouring near the Tokyo Gate Bridge, which prevented them from reaching the Cave.

The First Division then took to drawing the Huge away from the area, hoping to clear the path for the Second and Third Divisions to attack the Nestless Ultra in theirs and the Fifth Division's stead. The First Division's battle eventually took them to Odaiba's Uminori Park, where they succeed in repelling the ever increasing swarms of Huge thanks to their captain Takegoshi Chihana's commands, as well as Kawamura Yuzuriha awakening to the Rare Skill Testament. Soon after, the First Division was met with a pair of Gigant-class Huge, and while Sachie worked to distract one of them, the rest of the First Division promptly begins a Neunwelt Tactic in order to neutralize the second. After making her passes, Himari proposes to Chihana that they quickly switch to providing the others backup, arguing that they should predict and prevent a worst-case scenario. Chihana, however, dismisses the idea, as she is confident their Neunwelt will succeed.

The First Division succeeds in taking down the Gigant-class with the Neunwelt, but Sachie is unable to keep the second one restrained for long enough, and it begins advancing towards Aomi, where the Fourth Division was. Accounting for their low reserves of Magie due to just performing a Neunwelt, Himari suggests that they split into two teams, with one remaining to take care of the Huge in the area while the other chases after the Gigant-class. Chihana, however, orders the First Division not to pursue the other Gigant-class at all, instead requesting that the Fourth Division intercept it in their place. As such, the First Division continues to fight the Huge in Uminori as they slowly work towards recovering their Magie.

Because Sachie didn't take part in the Neunwelt, she is able to fight in a better capacity compared to the rest of the First Division, but in her frustration due to her failure to keep the Gigant-class restrained, she attempts to dash further into the Huge's horde, and is surrounded before Shirai Yuyu rescues her. After being advised by Yuyu to not let her desperation get the best of her, Sachie resumes fighting, and after being surrounded for the second time, she is able to fight her way out of the Huge's encircling after taking a second CHARM in hands, awakening to the Rare Skill Circlet Bless. As Sachie effortlessly mows down the Huge around her, Himari is in particular awe of her fighting form, noting how "gallant and freeform" her movements are.

After performing a Neunwelt Tactic against another Gigant-class, the First Division is once again left drained of their energy, causing them to be pushed back to the Aomi undersea tunnel by the hordes of Huge. As the battle progressed, Himari paired up with Sachie, and as they continued fighting together, she once again came to the realization that Sachie's fighting form was the embodiment of the "aggressive, gallant and freeform" style Himari had always dreamed of. Faced with an insurmountable amount of Huge, as well as continuously materializing Caves, Sachie and Himari are unable to maintain their offensive for long, and are eventually knocked down as a swarm of several Large-class Huge appear.

Yuyu rescues the pair, and unleashing the full might of her Lunatic Trancer, further boosted by Divine Possession, she eventually succeeds to destroyiing every last Huge and Cave inside the tunnel before collapsing, with Himari taking her place in the First Division's formation. The First Division engages the remaining hordes of Huge with great difficulty, as yet another Gigant-class had appeared before them, but they were now unable to perform a Neunwelt due to Yuyu and Taniguchi Hijiri being away from the battlefield. But shortly after the pair is able to rejoin the group, all the Huge in the area suddenly stop their assault and begin moving in the direction of Wakasu Park. While Chihana is hesitant to have the First Division pursue them given how exhausted its members were, Waku convinces her and the others to continue fighting.

Concluding that the Huge have begun moving to Wakasu Park due to the Second and Third Divisions beginning their takedown of the Nestless Ultra, Chihana declares that they must prevent the horde of Huge from reaching the other teams. Himari proposes that they focus on taking down the Gigant-class leading the horde, and Chihana agrees, though adding that they will still need to keep the remaining Huge restrained, acknowledging Himari's notion that any strategy must account for its worst case scenario.

The First Division catches up to the Gigant-class, and after clearing out the surrounding Huge enough, they perform their third Neunwelt Tactic of the day. After the Gigant-class is destroyed, they quickly begin engaging the remaining horde of Huge, once again struggling due to their low levels of Magie. The First Division continues holding out until the Second and Third succeed in destroying the Nestless Ultra, causing every Huge in Odaiba to evaporate. As the battle concludes, Chihana tells the First Division that not a single causualty had been reported. Later that day, Himari expresses how much she was able to learn from Chihana during the battle, and hopes to one day be able to fight by her side once again.

The Gleam of Dawn

[edit | edit source]

Main article: Assault Lily: The Gleam of Dawn

After her experience in sharing the battlefield with Sachie during the Odaiba Counteroffensive, Himari was determined to bring her ideal fighting style to fruition, arguing that a more flexible Legion formation would allow for each Lily to better express their individuality, as well as increase the team's cohesion, which would ultimately improve the quality of the Magie on their attacks. Miharu, however, still disagreed with her ideas, believing that the familiarity in Irma's stable approach ensured its effectiveness. While Waku shared Himari's ideals, Komachi sided with Miharu, creating a rift not only between the Magnificent Four, but amongst Irma's student body as a whole, with Lilies like Saho and Kamigoori Marimo taking Himari's side, while others, such as Miyamoto Komuku and Nakabayashi Kaina taking Miharu's side.

Himari's ideologies were furthered by her conversations with Marimo, as she was interested in the girl's ideas of a more aggressive approach to the Neunwelt Tactic.[6] Himari sought to combine Marimo's ideas of a "5-Top Shift Tactic" with her own aspirations for a formation centered around the Rare Skill Phantasm, proposing that Legion Irminshines adopt it. However, she ultimately fails in realizing this, as any changes to the pre-established battle formation adopted by Irma must be approved by the Garden's administration.[7]

Though still unwavering in her ambition, Himari felt responsible for bringing the Garden apart, and so she decided to withdraw from Legion Irminshines despite Waku and Komachi's sincere pleas. Ultimately, she would declare her departure from Irma altogether, in hopes to see her ideal Legion realized elsewhere. Marimo tries to stop Himari, proposing that they instead create a Legion of their own in Irma, and a heartbroken Saho further pleads with her to stay, but Himari does not back down on her decision.

Waku proposes that Himari transfers to Ludvico, so that she can fulfill her dreams together with Sachie. Himari agrees, promising to Waku that she'll create the strongest Legion of all. Marimo, however, is opposed to it, being aware of the sheer number of unwilling Boosted Lilies Ludvico holds. Himari, however, remains steadfast in fighting with Sachie once again. Himari's departure caused great turmoil to Irma's Lilies, notably, Komachi became exceedingly distraught, to the point of being unable to fight entirely. Meanwhile, Marimo, Saho and one Tsuzuki Hisui set out to carry on Himari's ideals within Irma, eventually leading them to create Legion Hakolberand.

At some point, Himari exchanged her Tyrfing Type R for the unique CHARM Macabuin.

Schwester's Prayer

[edit | edit source]

After transferring into Ludvico, Himari received the confirmation name of "Michaela" as per school tradition. She was immediately met by fellow second year Sano Matilda Kokoro, who filled her in on the variable lineup system employed by the Garden's Top Legion, the Temple Legion, as well as the members who are most often selected to integrate it, which include Sachie, Seto Veronica Ichika and Kuroki Francisca Yuria, all of them veterans from the Odaiba Counteroffensive.

As a second year, Himari is soon tasked with supervising the newly enrolled first-year Lilies in their training, watching over Hanaoka Angela Moe, Amamiya Sophia Seren and Haneda Catalina Mei together with Kokoro. Not long after, the Garden receives a report of a Cave, with all Lilies ordered to deploy. Himari rescues a paralyzed Sachie from an incoming attack, and as the second years continue their offensive, Sachie is unable to fight properly due to being consumed by grief at the death of her Schwester, Kishimoto Maria Mirai. Disappointed, Himari tells Sachie that she is nothing like the Lily she met during the Odaiba Counteroffensive, and blames Mirai for leaving her in such a sorry state. Sachie attempts to protest her words, but Himari urges Sachie to fight properly if she wishes to prove her wrong.

Later, Himari is approached by Yuria, who inquires her on why she wishes to become stronger. Himari tells Yuria of how she came to Ludvico in search for her ideal fighting style after witnessing Sachie's form during the counteroffensive, and how it's a principle different from the ones held by Irma and Miharu. Yuria advises Himari to not try too hard, as she is plenty strong as she is.

During Ludvico's Easter Festival, Himari is approached by the first-year Narumi Clara Yuko, who demands to know where Himari hid her egg. Himari wonders why Clara suddenly wishes to become her Schwester, and the girl responds that she presumes Seren wishes to become Himari's Schwester, and so she intends to make Seren jealous by taking her spot. Himari notices that Clara is a very strong Lily despite not letting it show, and Clara tells her that she wanted to appear as frail in order to appeal to Seren. Clara gives Himari her weighted stuffed bear, Kumama, promising to find her egg in the meantime.

A Cave materializes near Ludvico's cemetery, Maria's Hill, and predicting the appearance of a Gigant-class Huge, the Garden assembles the Temple Legion, with Himari being appointed as captain. The Legion assembles, and Himari returns Kumama to Clara, which she adorned with her Medalha. The Gigant-class makes its appearance, and the Temple Legion immediately commences a Neunwelt Tactic. As they make their passes, Matsunaga Brigitta Kayo reveals to Sachie having learned that, before she died, Mirai had undergone a Boosting procedure. Mirai's younger sister, Kishimoto Lucia Raimu, takes the final shot of the Neunwelt, successfully destroying the Gigant-class

After the battle, Clara once again approaches Himari, wishing to confirm her intentions. Himari states that she does wish to become Clara's Schwester, and the pair exchange their Medalhas. Himari states that, in watching Sachie and Raimu grow closer, she learned that true strength does not come from physical might alone, but in using it to protect the ones close to you.

Schwester's Secret

[edit | edit source]

Main article: Assault Lily: Schwester's Secret

Following the appearance of Cave, Kayo refuses to make use of her Lunatic Trancer, fearing that it may cause others to get hurt after Seto Veronica Ichika was injured in a previous battle. Himari attempts to reassure Kayo that her worries are unfounded, but the Lily remains unwilling to fight, prompting Himari to tell her to leave. As the Temple Legion members are selected, Tachibana Theresia Nagisa brings Kayo along, presuming she'll be selected as usual, but the first year Hasegawa Gabriella Tsugumi is chosen instead. Kayo immediately leaves, and Nagisa attempts to go after her, but she is stopped by Himari.

The pair argues, with Nagisa angry at Himari for turning her back on Kayo in the midst of such a dangerous battle, while Himari insists they must focus on the battle at hand. After Nagisa makes her pass during the Neunwelt, she leaves to search for Kayo anyways, telling Himari that she is still bound by Irma's pragmatic and inflexible ideologies, leaving Himari upset. The Temple Legion's Neunwelt progresses, but despite making a successful finishing shot, the Gigant-class is not defeated. The Lilies are then surprised by the reappearance of Mirai, who uses her Rare Skill, Phase Transcendence, to divert the Gigant-class Huge away from them before immediately leaving.

Afterwards, Himari speaks with Yuria once again, who tells her that she agrees with her combat discipline, but warns her that as Himari currently has the highest Skiller Value in Ludvico, it makes her the prime target for GEHENA's Boosting experiments the same way Mirai and Yuria herself were. As they speak, Lilies Hanaoka Angela Moe and Nagase Marta Nonoka hurriedly tell Himari that Clara had begun a duel with Hojo Monica Asahi, with their vows as Schwesters on the line. The pair brings Himari and Yuria to the scene just as Asahi begins to gain the upper hand, Himari urges Clara to stand up, expecting a better performance from her Schwester. Clara eventually wins the duel, but Himari declares it null, scolding the pair as battling between students is against the Garden's rules, though assuring them that she won't report this one occurrence.

The Garden reports the appearance of yet another Gigant-class, with the Temple Legion being dispatched to engage it. Despite being selected this time, Kayo is still absent, and Himari once again keeps Nagisa from going after her, but this time sending out Tsugumi to search for the second year. They begin a Neunwelt Tactic, but are unable to finish it as Mirai shows up a second time, now immediately attacking the Lilies. Yuria hypothesizes that she had undergone a second Boosting procedure after her apparent death, causing the Huge cells in her body to become unstable, essentially turning her into a quasi-Huge. And so, the Temple Legion members work to keep Mirai in place, allowing Raimu to shoot her with the Magisphere.

Shortly after the battle, Himari contacts Waku to inform them of Mirai's fate, given that the late Lily had come to Irma's aid during the Kiyosumi-Shirakawa Campus Defense two years prior, an event that left the Lilies present greatly indebted to her and the Temple Legion of the time. Marimo once again pleads with Himari to leave Ludvico, citing how she might end up forced into a Boosting experiment like Marimo herself was, but Himari still refuses, reaffirming that her decision to leave Irma had been resolute, and that she is determined to fight for the Garden and its Lilies as the captain of their Top Legion.

Later, Himari and Nagisa talk, with Nagisa revealing that she had been upset at her because as she was the captain of Ludvico's middle school Legion previously, she had hoped to become the captain of the Temple Legion after returning from Heimskringla Trädgård. With Ichika still absent, Himari appoints Nagisa as the new vice-captain of the Temple Legion.

In one of their routine training sessions, Himari is approached by Moe, who asks that she join Clara in training under her. Himari agrees, and as they train, she continuously corrects Moe's bad fighting form, often bringing her in very close contact with the girl, leaving Clara bothered.

Some time later, Himari joins Sachie in praying at Maria's Hill, wishing to pay respects to her sisters felled in battle. There, the pair talk of Sachie's memories with Mirai, and how to better carry her legacy forward. Himari tells Sachie that all the Lilies who witnessed Mirai's death share her desire of wishing to do right by her name. Sachie thanks Himari for the opportunity of fighting by her side, but Himari responds that it is her that had wished to fight beside Sachie for all this time.

Moe once again requests that Himari coach her, and the pair leave to a spot outside the Garden to train. As they begin to make their way back, the pair is approached by Kayo, who attempts to warn Himari of the danger she faces as a potential target for GEHENA. Himari responds that she is already aware and has taken the necessary precautions, but as the Lilies continue on their way back to Ludvico, they are ambushed by a Cave. Kayo leaves to retrieve her CHARM, while Himari engages the Huge while protecting the still inexperienced Moe. They meet with Yuria, who tells them that this Cave will go unreported, and they shouldn't expect backup.

Yuria draws the Huge away from Himari and Moe as they make their escape, managing to reunite with the Temple Legion members as they are surrounded by three Large-class Huge. Himari eventually is knocked down while shielding Moe from their attacks, and as the Huge begin to close in on Himari, Moe's panic drives her to awaken to Phantasm, allowing the Lilies to promptly destroy all the Huge surrounding them. Himari is ecstatic, as having a Phantasm user means she is one step closer to creating her ideal Legion, and promises to ensure Moe becomes the finest Lily she can be. However, she is soon told by Sachie that she no longer wishes to fight in the Temple Legion, as she can't trust the Garden's administration anymore.

Himari calls Waku, informing her that she was able to make it out safely, assuring her friend that she has the support of the Ludvico Lilies. Himari tells her of how Ludvico now has a Phantasm user of their own, and hopes to one day make her into a Lily as great as Waku, reaffirming her promise to create the strongest Legion of all.

As Ludvico is alerted to another Cave, Himari immediately brings Moe along, confident that she'll now be selected for the Temple Legion, which eventually does happen. The Temple Legion assembles, and they are soon joined by Sachie's new Legion, Ironside. Still hurt by Sachie's decision, Himari coldly tells Ironside to stand back, Sachie agrees, and Ironside takes to clearing the field as the Temple Legion performs the Neunwelt Tactic. However, during Moe's turn with the Magisphere, she is unable to take control of it, ultimately causing it to be lost. With no other choice, Himari and the other Temple Legion members with Magie still remaining join Ironside as they perform their own Neunwelt, successfully destroying the Cave.

Later, Himari speaks with Yuria, who had chosen to join Legion Ironside, with her explaining that, as Ironside does not abide by the Garden's orders, they can always step in to assist Himari and the Temple Legion whenever needed. Himari worries that Yuria herself might be targeted for rebelling against the Garden, but Yuria assures Himari that she won't ever die, not as long as she has friends to protect.

White Resistance ~The Blade of Truth~

[edit | edit source]

Main article: Assault Lily: White Resistance ~The Blade of Truth~

After the appearance of a Gigant-class, the Temple Legion is deployed to neutralize it. However, since the formation of Legion Ironside, not enough Lilies in Ludvico are powerful enough to make up for the lost members, and as such, the Temple Legion is short of the nine members required to perform the Neunwelt Tactic. They are complemented by the newly arrived Instructor Makabe Melania Sayoko, who, after aiding them in performing the Neunwelt Tactic, advises Himari to deeply consider the Temple Legion's current situation, with possible consequences for her role as their captain should she fail to do so. This leaves Himari visibly bothered, something which Clara notices during their usual training session.

Raimu and Seren are targeted by a Cave while visiting Raimu's old family home, and with an unusually large amount of Small and Mid-class Huge pouring out, Sachie asks that Himari and the Temple Legion members hold the line while Legion Ironside sets out to rescue the pair.

Some time later, Himari goes alone to Maria's Hill, where she laments that despite transferring to Ludvico in order to realize her ideal fighting style with Sachie, they now have chosen different paths for themselves. She is met by Nagisa, who urges her to let go of her infatuation for Sachie, and turn her trust and expectations towards the Temple Legion members still by her side, telling Himari that she is still willing to remain together with her in the Temple Legion. Himari accepts Nagisa's words, remarking that she is "the greatest vice-captain I could ask for."

Following the appearance of another Cave, The Temple Legion and Ironside assembles, and after learning that Kayo, Seren and Raimu were stuck fighting against Instructor Sayoko, she orders Sachie, Yuria, Tsugumi and Saeki Julia Karen to go to their rescue, taking the lead of both Ironside and Temple Legion Lilies remaining as they begin a Neunwelt Tactic against a Gigant-class Huge that had showed itself. Before they are able to finish it, however, they notice a person accompanying the Gigant-class, which is shortly revealed to be Nosaka Jacqueline Kazane, Ichika's previously deceased Schwester. Kazane steals the Magisphere and fires it upon the Lilies, and Ichika and Nagisa stay behind to fight her while the remaining Lilies set off in pursuit of the now fleeing Gigant-class.

Himari's team reunites with Sachie's, holding the line against the surrounding Huge while Kokoro returns to Ludvico to retrieve a second Neunwelt bullet. In the ensuing battle, Karen awakens to the Rare Skill Regista, prompting Himari to have the first year to join her in taking charge of the Legions' second Neunwelt. After making their passes, Himari orders Karen and Asahi to go after Ichika and Nagisa, and as their Neunwelt continues, the Gigant-class suddenly flees once again. The Lilies are then met by Instructors Sayoko and Toride Suzanne Reika, who reveal that they had intended all along to drain the Lilies of their Magie, so they could retrieve Raimu on behalf of GEHENA. Reika orders Himari and the Temple Legion to return to the Garden, but she refuses, stating that she is no longer fighting as a member of Ludvico's Temple Legion, but instead as a Lily fulfilling her duty.

The Instructors disable the protective barrier surrounding Ludvico, and immediately, a Great Cave forms over the Garden's campus, allowing the Huge to launch a large-scale attack against its facilities. And so, the Temple Legion members return to the Campus in order to defend the Lilies from the Huge's assault, while Himari and Legion Ironside stays behind and fights the two Instructors. The Lilies are easily overwhelmed, not only being deprived of their Magie, but also due to one of them being a Boosted Lily herself.

They are aided by Instructors Izumi Rosa Rina and Kosaka Anastasia Ryoko, but the latter suddenly murders Sayoko and Reika in cold blood, revealing herself to be possessed by the consciousness of Seren's father, Professor Amamiya. The Lilies and Rina then turn to fighting Ryoko, but are once again overpowered, as the Instructor was also a Boosted Lily possessing a near limitless output of Magie. After Ryoko is knocked down by the Gigant-class under Raimu's suggestion, Sachie delivers the Magisphere to Himari, allowing her to finally destroy the Huge.

The Bond with the White Rose

[edit | edit source]

After destroying the Gigant-class Huge, Himari moved to rejoin with the Temple Legion, who were surrounded not only by Huge emerging from Caves, but also Irregular specimens which had broken free from GEHENA's Ludvico Labs. She was continuously met with Huge while on her way back to the Garden, leaving her exhausted. Faced with a Huge possessing a Magie Reflector, Himari was rescued by the mysterious Lily Lovisa, but despite being seriously injured, Himari attempts to continue on her way towards the campus. After she eventually collapses, Lovisa carries Himari away from the battlefield.

The pair enters an abandoned railway tunnel near Ludvico, with Lovisa sharing some of her Magie with Himari in order to help her recover. Lovisa wonders why Himari is so eager to return to the battle instead of fleeing, and Himari explains that the Cave looming over Ludvico was one created by GEHENA. Himari in turn asks why Lovisa, an unidentified Lily, was in Ludvico, but she does not receive a straight answer from the girl. After talking of Himari's past in Irma, and her reasons for wishing to protect Ludvico, Lovisa induces Himari into a sleep state, hoping that she'll recover enough to rejoin her teammates.

After waking up, Himari briefly has a vision of Mirai and Kazane, who ask that she keep Ludvico and its Lilies safe in their stead. Recovered, Himari returns to making her way to Ludvico's campus, arriving just as Irma's Legions Irminshines and Hakolberand performed a joint Neunwelt Tactic to take down the Huge Sennen Mogura, joined by Clara, Moe, Asahi, Karen and Ironside members Takatori Natalie Towa and Li Christina Susu. Reuniting with Miharu, Waku and Komachi, the Magnificent Four make the final passes of the Neunwelt together, eventually allowing Himari to take the finishing shot and successfully destroy the Huge.

In the aftermath, Himari informs Waku that all of the Garden's Lilies, as well as the civilians in the area, had been successfully evacuated, thanking Irma's Legions for the aid they provided. Waku tearfully tells Himari that she hopes they can one day fight together again, while in turn, Himari asks Waku to tell Miharu that she was happy to fight by her side one more time, and that she hopes the two of them can continue working towards each of their ideal fighting styles.

he Ludvico Lilies mourn the loss of their Garden, as the Huge's attack had left it completely in ruins. Himari proclaims that though their Garden is physically destroyed, the unity shared between the Lilies of Ludvico remains unbroken. With the Temple Legion essentially extinct in any official capacity, the Lilies receive orders to primarily aid the Legions from surrounding Gardens dispatched to cover Ludvico's territory. Himari declares that she intends to continue serving as their captain in the coming battles, hoping that one day, the Temple Legion can be rebuilt.

Toyline

[edit | edit source]

Himari had two dolls released as part of the Assault Lily toyline, titled "Assault Lily Side Story No.43: Ichinomiya Michaela Himari", both released in September 2018. The two dolls are virtually identical, their only differing factor being the hairpiece, with one featuring Himari with a lighter, caramel tone to her hair, in accordance with her character design,[8] while the other features Himari with brown hair, matching the natural hair color of Himari's actress, Nishimoto Rimi. Both dolls feature four swappable faceplates, and are adorned with the Temple Legion's jacket. The CHARM included in both versions is the Dainsleif Carbine.[9]
